Executive MSEM Value Proposition

Value Proposition FAQ

  • What is a sponsoring-company’s payback for supporting my MSEM degree?
    • While we have not performed a value-engineering analysis of our programs, most organizations realize that new skills are required for employees who move from technical positions into managerial roles.
    • Without a solid understanding of business and management, technical people cannot excel when rising in an organization; hence the company may not only lose a good technical person but may gain a poor manager. Hiring a manager without technical expertise is simply the same problem in reverse. What an organization needs are individuals that have both managerial and technical skills.
    • Our executive-format/on-site programs are designed to educate motivated individuals, with technical backgrounds, in the management and operation of modern organizations. The objective is to produce graduates who can work comfortably in both technical and managerial roles.
    • On a price-performance basis, our tuition is well below the price charged by a large government-based Texas institution, and our class sizes are smaller.
