MSEM+MSIEM

Example: Planning a MS in Engineering Management + MS in Information Engineering and Management

The MSEM has seven required courses. The MSIEM has seven required core courses and three electives. Pursuing the two degrees separately, ignoring double-counting opportunities, requires 20 total courses (60 semester credit hours).

By using one overlapping core course, and three MSEM courses as MSIEM electives, only 16 courses (48 semester credit hours) are required to receive both degrees. Either degree can be completed first, and there are many alternative variations of this combined degree plan.
