MSEM+MSOR

Example: Planning a MS in Engineering Management + MS in Operations Research

The MSEM has seven required courses. The MSOR has four required core courses, three selected depth courses, and three electives. Pursuing the two degrees separately, ignoring double-counting opportunities, requires 20 total courses (60 semester credit hours).

By using three overlapping core courses, and one MSOR course as a MSEM elective, only 16 courses (48 semester credit hours) are required to receive both degrees. Either degree can be completed first.
