Computer professionals have a special responsibility to ensure ethical behavior in the design, development, and use of computers and computer networks. This course focuses on the education of the undergraduate through the study of ethical concepts and the social, legal, and ethical implications involved in computing. Issues to be studied include computer crimes, software theft, hacking and viruses, intellectual property, unreliable computers, technology issues in the workplace, and professional codes of ethics.
