Caruth Hall

Caruth Hall, the first engineering building on the SMU campus, has been transformed into a new state-of-the-art, LEED-certified facility, thanks to seed funding from the Caruth Foundation of Communities Foundation of Texas and other generous donors.

It is the  home of the Engineering Management, Information, and Systems department and the Computer Science and Engineering department. It is the most expensive academic building on campus and houses the Caruth Institute for Engineering Education, the Hart Center for Engineering Leadership, and the Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanity.
